Introducing Steven’s Angry Movie Rant
In what is sure to send me right over the freaking falls, I’ve decided to start a regular vidcast. I call it “Steven’s Angry Movie Rant”. Once a week (at least), I’ll devote three minutes to ranting and raving about the movies: genres, specific movies, fandom - the possibilities are endless. I’ve already got six or seven ideas that I’ll work up tomorrow and record at least three of them, which I will post to Seesmic. I’ll also post them here, along with a bit of background on each episode. A lot of work, to be sure, but other than NaNoWriMo, I have a little time for this.
So, if you have ideas or movies you think will set me off like John McCain at a Vietnamese restaurant, I’ll be taking suggestions. Drop me a line at chilaquiles@gmail.com and yell in my ear.
Time to increase the Netflix queue, I think.
“THAT ONE”
John McCain: class act.
Rolls right off the tongue, doesn’t it? Just like “those people”.
What, you’re surprised? I’m not.
“I hate the gooks,” McCain said yesterday in response to a question from reporters aboard his campaign bus. “I will hate them as long as I live.”
I’m sure that attitude will come in handy if he ever had to sit across the table from, say, Hu Jintao.
I hate being right. I said, way back in February, that someone in the McCain campaign would drop a racist blast before the election. With less than a month left, Old Man Surge himself cashes in on that bet.
The more things change, huh?
