Maverick Maverick Maverick Maverick
Did I say I was taking the night off? Well, screw that.
Things I learned listening to Sarah Palin: Barack Obama would be a really nice young man if he would just vote Republican more often, be a maverick, and stop increasing our taxes. Also, she gets flustered after an hour of spewing talking points. Oh, and I really enjoyed the way she would meander and not answer the questions put to her - ever.
That’s it, really. Biden did well. Palin needed to shine, and she didn’t.
My favorite part:
Nice, Palin. “Some of my best friends are gay.”
My reaction:
Can’t wait to see how Tina Fey skewers Palin this week on SNL.
Taking the Night Off
I just got back from Mom and Pop’s house. (Mom still makes the mashed potatoes.) We all caught up on what’s been going on in Texas and Illinois. Had a real nice time.
So I’m watching the replay of the VP Debate on C-SPAN right now. No witty insights so far, other than Sarah Palin really sucks at this debate thing and this debate is pretty much going the way I thought it would.
In the meantime, have a nice little song.
